Is raining heavily in the city.. in Bangalore..

Thunders turning on the Car security alarm every time... Awful night... what surprises me is the electricity is still on .. no power cut yet..

Back to Bangalore Experience

I was really excited in the last week of Feb 08... I was in Shanghai for a week..

Common .....this is nothing to do with Bangalore.... I know.. Read through you will know more.

My return by via Singapore was a great experience again. Travel time from Singapore to Bangalore was just four hours...recalling the good times of my first visit away from India.

Finally Reach Bangalore, 'wow I reach home - I am in Bangalore' this was some thoughts when the flight landed. Later, I completed the immigration Check and was awaiting the baggage to come, there I saw many foreigners and local citizens waiting, the baggage did not arrive as quickly as any one expected...this was a test of patience ..I never spent time at any airport waiting for the baggage during the travel...But unfortunate, may be this was one wrong example.

It was precisely one hour five minutes... when the baggage arrived ....thats was one fourth of travel time..isn't that Crazy now....

Later I just took 20 minutes to reach home on a Honda city about 10 kms away from airport...

So did I Enjoy being back to Bangalore at that moment..?

With the Increasing number of vehicles in the city, the roads are getting narrow too.
METRO for the future.. is creating a congestion..

I as a biker manage to get through quickly on the narrow roads....but what happens to the public transport buses and cars..

The Question is how long does the city face the difficult traffic situation..

Tall Trees - Where have they Gone.

Can i plant tree today. Did I ?

When was the last, I planted a Tree?

There will be very few in the town who can say yes to these questions. These are the questions to be asked to youngsters, kids, elders, each and everybody in the city. Bangalore was few years back cool place to be. Its is now warm, and likely to be more warmer, (Global warming).

We are developing the city, broadening the roads, the trees are cut down, now I see lesser tree on Old Madras road, (The stretch- from isolation Hospital to NGEF) all cut down. Those tree were definately old, and tall.

The question is, do we require roads broader than that, (old madras road- The stretch), Or Did we loose those tree, which requires decades to grow that tall.

If the decisions are wrong, we can only regret, as we cannot get that trees back. Although, can plant a tree for tommorrow. Further, About today, If these decisions are right, lets see a broad road, better road, for those vehicles, and also a road for more trees for the next decade.

Cut none. And Plant 10. 2day. Creat a Cool Bangalore.
